Dr Danielle Aufiero to Lecture on PRP Platelet Rich Plasma and BMC Bone Marrow Concentrate at International Society for Musculoskeletal Imaging in Rheumatology 2014:

The Orthohealing Center’s Dr Danielle Aufiero will be speaking at the 2014 ISEMIR conference on the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound in clinical practice and rheumatic diseases.  The conference includes lectures on ultrasound use for Spondyloarthropathies, inflammatory arthritis, and Platelet Rich Plasma injections, as well as extensive “hands on” education for using ultrasound to identify proper anatomy and assist with needle guidance. Biologic based therapies like platelet rich plasma are gaining awareness in the Rheumatology community. With an epidemic of increased arthritis on its way, more natural based solutions are needed to potentially provide relief.

The Orthohealing Center specializes in the use of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound for diagnostic precision and pinpoint accuracy of all injection therapy.  Dr Aufiero’s vast ultrasound experience spans a wide variety of muscle, joint, tendon and ligamentous injuries, and has provided more specific localization of injury and treatment, easing patients’ uncertainty and physical pain.  We are honored to have Dr Aufiero share her expertise with premier Rheumatologists to foster more collaboration and advance our understanding of joint pain.
