I am excited to announce that I have been selected to receive the “Ron Cey Orthopaedic Award” at this year’s Arthritis Foundation Greater Los Angeles Walk to Cure Arthritis! I have committed to raising $35,000 to further the mission of the Arthritis Foundation. The Arthritis Foundation’s mission is to find a cure for arthritis through research, education, advocacy and service. 53 million adults and 300,000 children have arthritis, including 27 million people with osteoarthritis and 2% of the entire population has an artificial joint. We at Orthohealing are committed to our communities’ health and wellness and are honored to help fund this important mission.
Below you will find details of how you can participate in my efforts this year. The walk will be held on Saturday, May 30th at Exposition Park, South Lawn. We will be having an Orthohealing office-wide picnic with our patients, family and friends at the walk to celebrate to celebrate all of our family, friends and patients’ hard work in fundraising and supporting this important cause. We hope you can attend and celebrate with us while enjoying the free food, kids’ zone, photobooth, a band, walking and much more!
Please note that each participant (including your family and friends) who registers as a participant on Orthohealing Hip-stirs team and raises $100 BY MAY 6TH will receive a special Orthohealing Walk to Cure Arthritis t-shirt! Please register by May 6th in order to make the t-shirt deadline!
