Dr. Steven Sampson and Dr. Danielle Aufiero were recently invited to lecture on Orthobiologics for military physicians at Walter Reed & Uniformed Services University in Maryland. They joined other leaders in the field of regenerative medicine to provide a comprehensive educational experience, encompassing all aspects of orthobiologics. The consortium was an opportunity for physicians and professors at the university to learn about emerging biologic treatments to help injured military personnel in the Army, Navy, and Air Force. Dr Sampson and Dr. Aufiero lectured on the basic science of bone marrow concentrate and platelet rich plasma, as well as more advanced applications of orthobiologics for intraosseous injections and spinal procedures. The Orthohealing Center is proud to be represented at such a collaborative educational event and help educate fellow physicians, to progress the field in a positive direction.
