About Steven Sampson, D.O.
Dr. Steven Sampson is a board-certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation doctor, what is also known as a Physiatrist. He has extensive training in healing the following conditions with non-surgical, conservative treatments:
- Tendon injuries
- Arthritis
- Neck, back and sciatica pain
- Shoulder, wrist and elbow pain
- Hip, knee, foot and ankle pain
- Fibromyalgia
Education
Dr. Sampson graduated from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his residency, as Chief Resident, at Saint Vincent Medical Center of Manhattan in New York.
Recent Experience
Most recently, Dr. Sampson practiced at Santa Monica Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Group where he directed their efforts in Rehabilitation and lead clinical research and development of Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy under ultrasound guidance. Dr. Sampson recently formed The Orthobiologic Institute (TOBI) designed to advance research and training in the field of orthobiologics.
About Dr. Danielle Aufiero
Dr. Danielle Aufiero is Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, or what is commonly known as a Physiatrist.
Dr. Aufiero's treatment focus is the restoration of function and pain reduction. She offers non-surgical treatment options for the following conditions:
- Arthritis and joint instability
- Acute and chronic tendon injuries
- Disc problems and degenerative joints leading to neck pain, back pain and sciatica
- Mechanical dysfunction of the spine arising from muscle weakness, ligament injuries and scoliosis
- Neuropathy
Education
Dr. Aufiero graduated from St. Georges University School of Medicine and completed her residency at Kessler Institute at University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
Recent Experience
Dr. Aufiero was most recently associated with Robb Pain Management Group in North Hollywood where she specialized in integrative approaches for the treatment of complex musculoskeletal conditions and spine disorders.
At the Orthohealing Center, Dr. Aufiero will provide an integrative and personalized approach to treating chronic injuries and pain including image guided prolotherapy, electromyogram (EMG) and nerve conduction studies, platelet rich plasma therapy (PRP), epidurals, nerve blocks, and facet injections.
