JBJS offers a webinar on PRP in light of rising recognition and interest among medical practitioners

Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery (JBJS) is offering a webinar to educate physicians on the science and evidence behind Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) procedures. JBJS’ reputation as a peer reviewed medical journal is a testament to a growing interest in PRP by medical practitioners. It should be noted that PRP is not a guaranteed, foolproof way to cure these medical conditions. It does, however, provide a promising solution to many conditions, such as tennis elbow and joint osteoarthritis. These conditions often cause a great amount of pain to patients, and thus more natural, non-surgical procedures are needed to address these problems. Controlled trials are required to evaluate who will benefit the most from PRP. The field of Orthobiologics is constantly evolving, shown by the increased awareness of PRP among medical practitioners. In June, we will be hosting over 100 leading physicians in Los Angeles from around the world for a PRP Seminar. The seminar will discuss the latest innovations in biologic based medicine.
